Leonard Fonyuy popularly known as Mr. Leo, one of Cameroon’s leading afro pop artist under Alphabeta records gives back to the community which he stems from. This was through a charity event that took place on Friday April 19 at Buea Central prison.
The event that was put together by Cliq Empire began with a football match between team Mr. Leo and the inmates where Mr. Leo’s team lost 2 goals to 6.
The superintendent in charge of the Buea Central prison Joel Pombouo Fopa appreciated the Alphabeta records for the gesture and urged them to organize more visits to the prison.

Meanwhile the producer and head of Alphabeta records Salatiel(Sala’a) told the prisoners that life does not end at the prison.
Alphabeta records (Mr. Leo, Blaise B and Salatiel) thrilled the crowd with performances of their hit songs like “E go better” “Clando” “Eposi” “Fap kolo” amongst others.
Some of the guest made up of local administrators, the military and judiciary personnel shared a common meal with the prisoners.
Some gifts were handed to the prisoners to encourage them and make them feel loved.
