The Association Etre & Vivre presents its godmother and projects during a charitable after work

Etre & Vivre Charity associationThe association Etre & Vivre invites you to share its dreams and projects, time for a relaxing and chic after work at the Burnt Bar,  the cocktail club of the hotel W Paris – Opera, in an intimate and cozy setting in a New York style (2 rue Meyerbeer 75009 Paris). Along with the godmother of the association Charlotte Namura (Telefoot), Jean-Luc Guizonne (Star Academy 5), Lylah Doll (The Goddesses) and many guests with big hearts. The association wishes to engage more of its action and its supporters in the fight against maternal and neonatal mortality in Africa and Cameroon in particular. More than 200,000 women die each year in sub-Saharan Africa from causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. But above all, more than 80% of these deaths are preventable!

In Cameroon, a woman dies every 2 hours giving birth, mainly because of insufficient quality obstetric care and difficult access to health care in a country that in 2015 still had only a midwife for 30,000. The main actions of the association is to support concerned persons with the provision of some under-equipped health facilities in remote areas of “portable ultrasound kits” and support for the training of midwives in Cameroon. A prestigious auction will be organized during the evening, hosted by Charlotte Namura. The funds raised during this event, through a margin on the tickets and the proceeds of the auction, will be used to finance the projects of the association. We have the power to save lives! So let your heart speak, support the association with your presence and do a good deed while having a good evening. To book is to support:

“Every time you help someone get up, you help the whole of humanity to rise.” – Steve Maraboli.

“Etre & Vivre” is a non-profit association created in 2013 initially to mentally support people in distress emotionally, but recently the association has focused on activities of accompaniment, education and care of disadvantaged mothers and their children.
